We’re Bougie Snack Dates.
A Melbourne-based indie snack company.
We make flavoured dates that taste like lollies and fill like fruit. Vegan, gluten-free, no sweeteners, and they come in four (for now) flavours: Sour Cola, Strawberries & Cream, Fizzy Lemonade, Tangy Blackcurrant.
People usually say things like
"Wait… these are dates?" or "Why do they taste like lollies?"
- or our personal favourite - "I don't even like dates."
Technically fruit. Emotionally lollies.
That’s our whole thing.
Dates themselves are quietly excellent. They’re naturally filling, contain fibre, and release energy steadily. That’s why more people are reaching for them around workouts, during the 3pm slump, and yes, in the third trimester of pregnancy (there's research on that!).
But wanting to eat dates and actually wanting dates are two different things. Bougie is where those two finally meet.
